Therese Keys is one of the best, if not the best real estate broker I have ever worked with. When we started looking for a second home in Florida, I did my initial research via the Web and contacted numerous brokers. She was the ONLY one who stayed with me for the months to come until we made our first visit to look at homes (I think she must have sent me 100's of listings). I was sold from that moment on. But the true challenge was hers. At first we thought we wanted a small cottage near the beach....but she very quickly determined that was not what we really wanted (based on our reactions) and started showing us larger homes beachside and on the Intercoastal. She was definitely on the right track. After more than 5 trips to Florida and viewing what had to have been more than 100 homes, she sat us down and said...... "you need to decide what you want. You have seen every Intercoastal home ( we decided against beachside) from Ormond to Jacksonville. there is nothing left." She was right. We went back the next day to a home we had seen 4 times (the owners were begging us to buy their home... we even got to know the neighbors before we purchased:). That did it. The next day we made a solid offer which they countered, we countered and we now have the most beautiful IC home we could have ever imagined. Since then she has stayed in touch, we've had dinner with Therese and her husband .....she never quits. Tenacious, tireless, never giving up. If we were to sell or look for a home again, I would only call Therese. She knows how to read a buyer. And she doesn't give up. Like I said before. - Linda

Last summer my husband and I put our home in western PA up for sale‚ thinking with the‚ current market‚ it would take several months to sell.. Our goal was to be southward bound in nine months. The house sold within the week. We knew we wanted to move south but as yet hadn't settled on a definite location. My older brother invited us to Palm Coast to look at property near him. Within two weeks we were on a flight to sunny FL. In the meantime we searched the net and found Beach Bum Realty with a picture of Therese Keys, owner. She looked honest, friendly, and inviting. We decided to give her a call and set an appointment to house hunt. Therese‚ met us at a nearby location ready to take us to several homes. In fact, she did this several days; always patient, pleasant, and well informed about each property. We didn't find what we were looking for, a downsized house, newer in age, with lots of natural light while still in FL Therese didn't stop when we left the area. She e-mailed new listing as they came out, went to those houses we found interesting‚ to check the condition of the houses and neighborhood, took pictures and‚ e-mailed those to us, and went beyond the call.‚ Finally in one weekend we had two homes that filled our requirements.‚ She and her husband, David, went to both homes and made honest comparisons to help us decide which was better for us.‚ However, the end decision was ours without bias on their part. We ended up buying a wonderful home sight unseen, relying on the word of Therese Keys.‚ She was there during the inspection, advised us through the closing, and was always a call‚ away when questions arose.‚ We moved in Oct, 2008. The process was relatively smooth thanks to a person who has the knowledge and‚ thoroughness to make it so.‚ We are extremely happy with the house, the neighborhood and our move to Palm Coast.
